From August 1st, three laws related to the real estate market, including the 2024 Land Law, the Housing Law, and the 2023 Real Estate Business Law, will officially come into effect.
Accordingly, the 2024 Land Law is expected to bring about fundamental changes in land management, from administrative procedures to auction mechanisms, contributing to market transparency.
The Housing Law focuses on protecting the rights of homebuyers and promoting the development of social housing and commercial housing.
The 2023 Real Estate Business Law includes regulations aimed at strengthening the management of real estate business activities, ensuring transparency, and limiting risks for investors.
Lawyer and Master of Law Pham Thanh Tuan, a member of the Hanoi Bar Association and arbitrator at the Vietnam Commercial and Justice Arbitration Center, will be a guest on ChatToday on August 1st. Mr. Tuan has nearly 20 years of experience in providing legal advice on real estate and construction.

Speaking to a reporter from Dan Tri newspaper , lawyer Pham Thanh Tuan said that recently he has received many questions related to changes in land use right certificates (red books) and their impact on people. A frequently asked question is whether the issuance of red books will become easier after the 2024 Land Law comes into effect.
Mr. Tuan stated that people are particularly interested in when a plot of land will be granted a land certificate and whether the issuance procedure is simple or not.
