The "Trade Union Flower Garden - Green, Clean, and Beautiful Enterprise" movement is creating a noticeable transformation in many agencies and businesses in Quang Ninh province.

Employees of Sun Hospitality JSC, Ha Long branch, harvest vegetables in a garden cared for by the company's own union members.

From the beginning of 2026, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Union issued a plan to implement the "Trade Union Flower Garden - Green, Clean, and Beautiful Enterprise" movement, identifying this as a key task linked to the theme of the year's work.

Trade unions at all levels proactively concretize programs tailored to each locality and unit. They coordinate with professional departments and employers to mobilize resources, allocate land, and organize the planting and care of flower gardens and plant beds. Many units have developed large-scale models with diverse green spaces, creating harmonious and environmentally friendly landscapes.

In Bai Chay ward, the ward's Trade Union implemented the movement systematically from the beginning of the year. The Ward Trade Union Executive Committee guided the grassroots trade unions in registering models, selecting suitable plants, ensuring aesthetic appeal, and maintaining regular care.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Duyen, Chairwoman of the Bai Chay Ward Trade Union, said: “The ward's trade union has determined that the movement not only beautifies the landscape but also creates a positive working environment, helping union members become more attached to the unit. We link the construction and maintenance of flower gardens with the criteria of the annual emulation campaign, ensuring its effectiveness.”

A rose garden has been planted at Doan Thi Diem Primary, Secondary, and High School in Ha Long.

Based on that direction, many businesses have implemented it effectively, most notably the Trade Union of Sun Hospitality JSC, Ha Long branch. Utilizing the company's premises, the trade union collaborated in building a flower garden and a clean vegetable garden to directly support business operations.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Khanh Chi, Chairwoman of the Company's Trade Union, said: "The company grows flowers seasonally and also develops a clean vegetable garden with varieties such as chayote, gourds, water spinach, jute mallow, mint, chili peppers, etc., to serve in preparing dishes for customers. The Trade Union has established a plant care team and provides technical training for its members. We also utilize eggshells and organic waste to fertilize the plants, aiming for a green and sustainable model."

This model not only creates a source of clean food but also helps workers participate in collective activities, increasing cohesion and environmental awareness.

In Cao Xanh ward, the "Trade Union Flower Garden" movement is taking place enthusiastically in many agencies and units. Trade unions at various levels, such as Quang Ninh Lung Hospital, Ha Long High School, Doan Thi Diem Ha Long School, and the An Du Trading and Tourism Joint Stock Company branch, have built flower gardens and green pathways within their premises.

The units are neatly organized, seasonal flowers are planted, and union members are assigned to take care of them regularly. As a result, the workspace is greener and cleaner, creating a comfortable feeling for staff, teachers, doctors, and workers.

In reality, the movement goes beyond simply planting flowers; it also contributes to building a civilized work environment and reducing work stress. Many union members say that caring for greenery helps them relax and feel more connected to their unit.

Commenting on the movement, Ms. Hoang Thi Hong Phan, Vice President of the Provincial Labor Union, affirmed: “The 'Trade Union Flower Garden' movement has highlighted the core role of the trade union organization in mobilizing union members to participate in building a green, clean, and beautiful working environment. Many effective models have been formed, contributing to improving the spiritual life of workers.”

In the coming period, the Provincial Labor Union will continue to direct all levels of trade unions to replicate the model, linking the movement with the emulation criteria and professional tasks of each unit. Trade unions at all levels will strengthen coordination with businesses, mobilize resources, and encourage union members to contribute trees and labor to maintain the flower gardens.

From the creation of green spaces, the role of trade unions continues to be clearly affirmed, contributing to building a civilized and sustainable working environment, in line with the development goals of Quang Ninh province.
