After nearly four months since its launch, the competition attracted 215 entries from 56 authors from 11 provinces and cities. The works were diverse in materials, ranging from traditional Vietnamese dó paper, silk, wood, and curtains to ceramics, and varied in expression, from Sino-Vietnamese script to Vietnamese calligraphy. Many creations were linked to the theme "Hai Phong - Loyal, Brave, and Victorious," depicting the tradition of nation-building and defense, and the strong growth of the port city.

The organizers noted the participation of many generations, from authors in their 80s to 13-year-old teenagers, creating a space where tradition and youthful energy converge. In particular, many works impressed with their unique creativity: gold-plated calligraphy, 3D embossed lettering, the incorporation of ink wash techniques, or peony motifs within each character.
