Spreading love of culture to the community

Although not a professional artist, Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Linh, Head of the Professional Department of Dong Nai Cultural and Cinema Center, is still a familiar face in the cultural and artistic life in Dong Nai.

Born and raised in Hung Yen province, Ms. Tuyet Linh went to Ho Chi Minh City to pursue her studies in 1997. In 2002, she returned to Dong Nai to work at the Provincial Cultural Information Center (now Dong Nai Cultural - Cinema Center). She started her career as a performing artist and participated in short plays and comedy plays of the center's Mobile Propaganda Team. With her soulful voice, graceful demeanor and love for her job, she quickly became a familiar face in many cultural and artistic programs of Dong Nai.

Along with performing, Ms. Tuyet Linh is active in building and organizing mass art performances to participate in provincial, regional and national festivals and performances. The programs she contributed to are not only highly appreciated for their professional quality, but also won many gold and silver medals, contributing to promoting and spreading the image of Dong Nai culture to friends across the country.

Not only working at the "front line" of the province's cultural and artistic scene, every summer, Ms. Tuyet Linh and the propagandists of Dong Nai Cultural and Cinema Center also actively go to the grassroots, instructing singing and performing arts for localities. In particular, the training classes focus on young people, cultural officers of communes, wards and towns and students of Drug Rehabilitation Center No. 1. Although the training and practice sessions are simple, they have contributed to nurturing the love of art for the young generation.

“Guiding grassroots cultural skills is an annual activity that the center pays special attention to, aiming to equip students with knowledge and skills such as: playing instruments, singing, script writing, writing skits... to serve local cultural work. This activity attracts a large number of young people to participate, especially students - potential faces, promising to be the successor force, continuing the mass art movement of Dong Nai in the coming time" - Ms. Tuyet Linh shared.

Talking about Ms. Tuyet Linh, Director of Dong Nai Cultural - Cinema Center Ton Thi Thanh Tinh said that Tuyet Linh is always proactive in learning and being creative in her work. From program development, performance organization to MC, exhibition explanation, facility guidance, she completes all assigned tasks in any field. Her contributions to the movement not only help enrich the art programs, but also spread the love of culture to the community.
