Born and raised in Hung Yen province, Tuyet Linh moved to Ho Chi Minh City to pursue her studies in 1997. In 2002, she returned to Dong Nai province to work at the Provincial Cultural and Information Center (now the Dong Nai Cultural and Film Center). She began her career as a performing artist, participating in short plays and comedies for the center's Mobile Propaganda Team. With her expressive voice, charming demeanor, and passion for her profession, she quickly became a familiar face in many cultural and artistic programs in Dong Nai.
In addition to performing, Ms. Tuyet Linh is actively involved in building and organizing mass art performance programs participating in provincial, regional, and national festivals and competitions. The programs she has contributed to are not only highly regarded for their professional quality but have also won numerous gold and silver medals, helping to promote and spread the cultural image of Dong Nai to friends across the country.
Not only is she active on the front lines of the province's cultural and artistic activities, but every summer, Ms. Tuyet Linh, along with the propagandists of the Dong Nai Cultural and Film Center, also actively goes to the grassroots level to provide guidance on singing and performing arts to local communities. In particular, these training sessions focus on young people, cultural officials at the commune, ward, and town levels, and trainees at the No. 1 Drug Rehabilitation Center. Although these training sessions are simple, they have been and continue to contribute to nurturing a love of art among young people.
“The grassroots cultural training program is an annual activity that the center pays special attention to, aiming to equip trainees with knowledge and skills such as playing musical instruments, singing, scriptwriting, and writing short plays… to serve cultural work in the locality. This activity attracts a large number of young people, especially students – potential talents who promise to be the successors and continue the mass arts movement of Dong Nai in the future,” Ms. Tuyet Linh shared.
Speaking about Ms. Tuyet Linh, Ms. Ton Thi Thanh Tinh, Director of the Dong Nai Cultural and Film Center, said that Tuyet Linh is always proactive in learning and being creative in her work. From program development and performance organization to MCing, exhibition commentary, and guidance for local communities, she completes every task assigned to her. Her contributions to cultural activities not only enrich artistic programs but also spread a love of culture to the community.
