Visiting Nha Nit peach blossom village in Hy Cuong commune these days, you'll see delicate flower buds waiting to bloom all along the roads and alleys. To ensure the peach trees bloom in time for Tet (Lunar New Year), from the end of October in the lunar calendar, garden owners begin stripping leaves and transplanting the peach trees into pots.
To facilitate the sale of peach blossoms for Tet (Lunar New Year) and to meet the shopping and photo-taking needs of the people, thousands of peach blossom trees are being displayed along Ton Duc Thang road leading to the center of the commune, attracting tourists to admire the flowers.
Nha Nit Peach Blossom Village has a planting area of over 7.5 hectares, with 128 members, and a total production of approximately 40,000 trees this year. According to the peach blossom growers' calculations, if the weather remains cool, with little rain, and no rain during the period leading up to Tet (Lunar New Year), the peach blossoms will bloom beautifully, promising a bountiful harvest.
Another spring is arriving, its colors enveloping the small lanes of various localities in Phu Tho province. Besides Nha Nit peach blossom village, Phu Tho province has many other flower villages also entering their peak season of the year. The fragrance and beauty of peach blossoms are spreading, bringing with them the hopes of flower growers for a prosperous and happy new year.
