On the afternoon of February 2nd, a delegation from the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, led by Ms. Huynh Thi Phuc, Deputy Head of the Ho Chi Minh City National Assembly Delegation, visited and extended New Year greetings to healthcare facilities in the city on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2026 (Year of the Horse).

During a visit to extend New Year greetings at Children's Hospital 1 , Deputy Head of the Ho Chi Minh City National Assembly Delegation Huynh Thi Phuc expressed her appreciation for the hospital's contributions to children's healthcare, especially its role as a tertiary care center receiving and treating many severe and complex cases from the Southern region.

The comrade expressed his wish that the team of doctors and medical staff would continue to uphold their traditions, constantly improve the quality of treatment, promote the application of advanced techniques, and ensure patient safety, especially during the Tet holiday when the number of emergency cases usually increases.

During a visit to extend New Year greetings to the faculty, lecturers, and staff of Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine , Deputy Head of the Ho Chi Minh City National Assembly Delegation Huynh Thi Phuc emphasized the particularly important role of the university in training high-quality medical personnel for the city and the Southern region.

The comrade acknowledged the efforts of the teaching staff and management in innovating the training program, linking training with practice, scientific research, and the practical requirements of the healthcare system.
