Lao Cai develops sustainable tea growing areas.

The total tea cultivation area in Lao Cai province currently reaches 16,082 hectares, equivalent to 99.7% of the plan. During the year, the province planted 336 hectares of new tea; the estimated production of fresh tea buds reached 128,970 tons, basically completing and exceeding the set target.

Along with expanding the cultivated area, Lao Cai focuses on improving the quality and efficiency of production in a sustainable manner. To date, the area of ​​tea produced according to organic standards has reached over 2,419 hectares, including 1,219 hectares meeting international organic standards in Ban Lien commune and 1,200 hectares of ancient tea trees produced according to organic standards in Phin Ho, Son Luong, and Van Chan communes. Tea products are becoming increasingly diverse, and the market is stable and expanding. By 2025, the value of fresh tea leaf production is estimated to reach over 960 billion VND.

Hydropower contributes 40-50% of Son La province's budget revenue.

Son La currently has three large hydropower plants, including Son La, Huoi Quang, and Nam Chien, and 57 smaller hydropower plants in operation, with a total capacity of 3,794 MW and an annual electricity output of approximately 12-15 billion kWh.

Hydropower plants contribute 40-50% of local budget revenue, playing a significant role in the province's economic growth target of 8.03% in 2025, while also ensuring national energy security.

Along with electricity generation, hydropower projects provide impetus for the development of transportation infrastructure and services, promote economic restructuring, create jobs, and improve the lives of people in resettlement areas. In addition, the province always prioritizes the safe management and operation of dams and reservoirs, linking hydropower development with environmental protection and efficient water resource utilization.

Handing over vehicles and ensuring traffic safety and order.

The Lang Son Provincial Police recently held a handover ceremony for vehicles and technical equipment used in ensuring traffic safety and order to the Traffic Police Department. In recent times, the traffic police force has received significant investment in equipment, contributing to improved work efficiency.

However, many vehicles and equipment have deteriorated, and some items are lacking compared to the requirements of the mission. Based on this reality, the Provincial Police Department has approved three procurement packages for vehicles and equipment with a total budget of nearly 19 billion VND, including specialized cars, high-displacement motorcycles, body-mounted cameras, flycams, and other professional equipment.

Thai Nguyen's tourism sector is estimated to generate nearly 7,447 billion VND in revenue.

In 2025, Thai Nguyen's tourism sector will make a significant mark with strong growth in visitor numbers, revenue, and service quality, entering a new phase of development in the context of deep international integration.

Thanks to the effective connection of tourism resources into a diverse and harmonious ecosystem of nature, culture, and history, the province welcomed over 7.3 million visitors, with estimated revenue reaching nearly 7,447 billion VND. During the September 2nd holiday, tourist areas and attractions received over 240,000 visitors, generating approximately 156 billion VND in revenue. Tourism infrastructure continues to be invested in comprehensively, with 19 recognized tourist areas and attractions, and the accommodation, travel, and service systems are increasingly developing, creating an important impetus for sustainable growth.

Strengthening career counseling and job placement services for workers.

In 2025, the Cao Bang Provincial Employment Service Center provided labor and employment policy counseling to 13,383 workers, achieving 334.5% of the plan. Through job placement, supply, and information connection activities, 1,069 workers were referred to jobs; nearly 3,000 workers found employment or vocational training linked to employment.

The center organized hundreds of conferences and job fairs, both in-person and online, attracting a large number of workers; it also promoted the provision of labor market information through digital platforms with over 520,000 visits. Unemployment insurance claims were processed promptly and in accordance with regulations, contributing to ensuring social security and stabilizing the labor market in the area.
