The Hung King Teaching the People to Cultivate Rice Festival consists of two parts: The ceremonial part, with rituals ranging from the announcement and offerings to the God of Agriculture to the sacrificial ceremonies, especially the reenactment of "King Hung teaching the people to cultivate rice," which is conducted solemnly. Following this is the festive part, featuring rice-cultivation competitions between teams and folk games, with the enthusiastic participation of locals and tourists from all over.
