The Seal Opening Ceremony (at the hour of Ty on the night of January 14) is an important ceremony in the traditional Tran Temple Seal Opening Festival, including the following activities: from 10:15 p.m. to 10:40 p.m., performing the incense offering ceremony; from 10:40 p.m. to 11:10 p.m., organizing the ceremony of carrying the Seal Palanquin from Co Trach Temple to Thien Truong Temple; from 11:15 p.m., performing the Seal Opening ceremony and offering the Congregation.

In the sacred space of the Opening Seal ceremony, in front of the Trung Thien altar, Thien Truong Temple, the Central and provincial leaders respectfully offered incense to commemorate the Tran ancestors, to express gratitude for the great contributions of the Tran Kings and Saint Tran - Duke, Commander-in-Chief Hung Dao Dai Vuong Tran Quoc Tuan, deeply demonstrating the nation's traditional morality of "When drinking water, remember its source"; thereby encouraging cadres and people in the province to continue the good tradition of their ancestors, to strive to study, work, be creative, and contribute their talents, efforts, and intelligence to build the homeland and country to become increasingly rich, beautiful, and civilized.

From 5am on January 15, the Organizing Committee will distribute seals to people and tourists at 4 locations: Giai Vu House at Thien Truong Palace, Co Trach Temple and Exhibition House at Trung Hoa Palace. On January 16 (February 25), there will be a ceremony to worship and celebrate the Thuong Nguyen Festival at Co Trach Temple and a ceremony to present Chuc Van Hoan Cung.

The Tran Temple Seal Opening Ceremony in early Spring has a great humanistic meaning of praying for national peace and prosperity, for the world to be peaceful and prosperous, for all families to enjoy the Tran Temple Seal - "Accumulating Blessings Without Limits", with the meaning of wishing all people, hundreds of families to preserve family traditions, discipline, ethics, and accumulate enough blessings so that the blessings can last. This custom not only has deep humanistic values ​​but also has historical educational significance, demonstrating the nation's morality of "When drinking water, remember its source".

According to the Organizing Committee, the new feature of the Tran Xuan Temple Opening Festival in 2024 is to organize many exciting cultural, artistic and sports activities such as: Performing drum performances; playing chess; playing cards; lion - lion - dragon dance; flying flute kites; Cheo singing; Van singing; Xam singing; water puppetry; organizing the "Spring of Martial Arts" program, martial arts performances, wrestling competitions; art programs of art troupes inside and outside the province; displaying and displaying ornamental plants, introducing Nam Dinh OCOP products; exhibition "Thien Truong Palace - Golden Imprint", exhibition "Beautiful photos of Nam Dinh tourism"...

Along with organizing a variety of cultural and artistic activities, to create a spacious space for the Tran Temple Seal Opening Festival this year, the city government has also moved all display, exhibition and service kiosks to the Dong A Square yard of the Tran Festival center. From there, it creates an open space for the Tran Temple grounds, ensuring solemnity, avoiding the situation of tourists having to jostle and push like every year.

According to estimates from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nam Dinh province, during the Tran Temple Opening Festival in Xuan Giap Thin 2024, there will be about 170,000 visitors; the room capacity for long-term guests at accommodation establishments in Nam Dinh city will reach 70-80%, some hotels will reach 100%.

To ensure security and safety for this year's Festival, Nam Dinh has mobilized more than 2,500 officers, soldiers, and employees of various forces to participate in ensuring security and order, divided into 5 rounds, including 4 rounds directly at Tran Temple area with nearly 40 security posts, to prevent jostling, pushing, and unsafe situations during the festival.
