University admission cutoff scores announcement schedule for 2025

According to the Ministry of Education and Training, the university admission scores for 2025 will be announced from the afternoon of August 20th. The results of the first round of admissions must be announced no later than 5 PM on August 22nd.

According to the Ministry of Education and Training 's plan for university and college admissions in 2025, from August 13th to 5 PM on August 20th, educational institutions will upload admission data and information; high school graduation exam scores; high school academic results; scores from other exams… (if any) to the System and organize the admission process.

By 5 PM on August 20th, training institutions will enter the admission scores and selection results into the system. They will then review and prepare to announce the results of the first round of admissions according to the general schedule.

Educational institutions will announce the cutoff scores and the list of successful candidates for the first round before 5 PM on August 22nd. Candidates must confirm their enrollment online through the system before 5 PM on August 30th.

The Ministry of Education and Training announced that the national high school graduation rate will reach 99.21% in 2025. This will be the first cohort of students graduating under the new General Education Program. This means that approximately over 9,000 students will fail to graduate from high school in 2025.

As of July 28th, the deadline for registration on the Ministry of Education and Training's system, 849,544 candidates had registered for admission, accounting for 73.23%. Therefore, more than 310,400 candidates did not register for university and college admissions in 2025.
