According to regulations from the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, from today, June 21st to 24th, applications for review of 10th grade exam results will be accepted.
Before 4 PM on June 24th , the Department will announce the cutoff scores for specialized and integrated 10th-grade classes.
From June 25-29, successful candidates admitted to specialized, integrated, or direct admission programs must confirm their enrollment.
The results of the review process are expected to be announced on June 30th.
On July 10th, the cut-off scores for admission to regular public high schools were announced.
From July 11th to August 1st, successful candidates confirm their enrollment.
The admission score for the school is usually calculated as follows: Admission score = Literature exam score + Foreign language exam score + Mathematics exam score + Priority points (if any).
The exam score is the sum of the component scores of each question in the exam. The exam score is calculated on a scale from 0 to 10, with increments of 0.25. Bonus points for eligible candidates are limited to a maximum of 3 points. Successful candidates must take all three exams and not receive a score of 0 on any exam.

Based on the enrollment quotas of each school, the number of registered preferences, and the admission scores, the Department of Education and Training will review and announce the cut-off scores for each school according to the principle that the cut-off score for the second preference will be higher than the cut-off score for the first preference, and the cut-off score for the third preference will be higher than the cut-off score for the second preference.
Students' admission will be based on the three preferences they registered, in order of priority from preference 1 to preference 2 and finally preference 3. Schools are only allowed to admit students who have been admitted to grade 10 according to the list approved by the Department of Education and Training.
The admission score for specialized schools and classes is calculated as follows: Admission score = Literature exam score + Foreign language exam score + Mathematics exam score + Specialized subject exam score x 2 + Priority points (if any).
The admission score for the integrated program is calculated as follows:
- For students participating in the Integrated English Program at the lower secondary level in Ho Chi Minh City:
Admission score = Literature exam score + Foreign language exam score + Mathematics exam score + Average score of the integrated English program + Priority points (if any).
- For students not participating in the Integrated English Program at the lower secondary level in Ho Chi Minh City:
Admission score = Literature exam score + Foreign language exam score + Mathematics exam score + Integrated English exam score + Priority points (if any).
Only candidates who participated in the entrance examination, completed all required tests, did not violate the regulations during the entrance examination, and did not receive a score of 0 on any test will be considered for admission.
