According to the 2023-2024 school year timetable, preschool children and primary and secondary school students in Ho Chi Minh City will have their Lunar New Year holiday from February 5th (the 26th day of the 12th lunar month) to February 18th, 2024 (the 9th day of the 1st lunar month).

Based on the Lunar New Year holiday schedule mentioned above, including the preceding weekends, students in Ho Chi Minh City will have a total of 15-16 days off (3-4 days more than last year).

According to a recent announcement by the Hanoi People's Committee regarding the Lunar New Year and National Day holiday schedule for 2024, civil servants, public employees, and workers currently employed at administrative agencies, public service organizations, political organizations, and socio-political organizations under the Hanoi People's Committee will have a 7-day Lunar New Year holiday in 2024.

Specifically, the holiday period will start from February 8th to February 14th, 2024 (i.e., from the 29th day of the 12th lunar month of the Year of the Rabbit to the 5th day of the 1st lunar month of the Year of the Dragon).

The Department of Education and Training of Dong Nai province announces to administrators, teachers, staff, and students of preschools, primary schools, secondary schools, and high schools that the Lunar New Year holiday in 2024 will be from February 5th to February 17th, 2024.

Administrators, teachers, staff, and students at educational institutions will have a total of 13 days off for the 2024 Lunar New Year holiday.

For officials and employees of the Department of Education and Training, the Lunar New Year holiday will be from February 8th to 14th. Officials and employees in the education sector will have 7 days off, including 5 days for the Lunar New Year holiday and 2 days off for the week.
