Mr. Kim's concern about the empty stadium is understandable, as the Vietnamese national team under his leadership hasn't really shown much improvement. However, when speaking to the media, he confidently stated: "The Vietnamese national team has conceded at least two goals in each match, just in the last six games alone. But in the match against India, we didn't make many changes to our defense. I think that if the whole team plays as a united unit, we will have a positive result. With what I'm doing with the Vietnamese national team, we will get a good result against India."

More than anyone else, Mr. Kim understands that a victory is extremely important. He wants the team to achieve a favorable result and play convincingly to boost his own morale and that of his players, while also rekindling the declining confidence of the fans. Mr. Kim shared: "Actually, I'm not too worried, as the match against India is also the last match before the AFF Cup. Over the past period, the players have been in good physical condition and have prepared thoroughly for this important tournament. I believe the Vietnamese team will achieve a good result."

Meanwhile, Indian national team coach Manolo Marquez declared: "I know which Vietnamese players are capable of scoring. Based on India's analysis of recent friendly matches, the Vietnamese team has a solid defense and a well-structured attack. They are a strong opponent. However, India is here to end its winless streak. This is a good match for India. Because Vietnam reached the third round of World Cup qualifiers, I naturally believe they are a strong opponent. We will play our best and also believe that we are a tough opponent for Vietnam.
