According to information from the Department of Agriculture of Cat Tien district, Cat Tien has provided funding to implement the Plan for linking production and consumption of organic rice in Duc Pho commune. Accordingly, 20 farming households with rice growing areas in the field of Hamlet 2, Duc Pho commune will be supported with funding to buy rice seeds and materials, organic fertilizers. On an area of 15 hectares, people will cultivate the fragrant rice variety 8, certified variety. The cultivation process complies with the sustainable rice production model in the organic direction to produce high-quality fragrant rice products. The project implementation funding will be supported in the form of 70% from the State and 30% from farmers. This is a model to continue expanding the orientation of organic rice cultivation to position the high-end brand of Cat Tien rice.
