Linking the production and consumption of organic fragrant rice.

Information from the Cat Tien District Department of Agriculture indicates that Cat Tien has allocated funds to implement a plan for linking the production and consumption of organic rice in Duc Pho commune. Accordingly, 20 farming households with rice fields in Hamlet 2, Duc Pho commune, will receive financial support for purchasing rice seeds, supplies, and organic fertilizers. On an area of ​​15 hectares, farmers will cultivate the Dai Thom 8 rice variety, a certified variety. The cultivation process will adhere to a sustainable rice production model following organic farming principles to produce high-quality Dai Thom rice. The project's funding will be provided through a 70% government-funded, 30% farmer-funded model. This model further expands the organic rice cultivation approach, aiming to establish a premium brand for Cat Tien rice.
