Members of the organizing committee answered questions from the press at the press conference.

According to the Chairman of the Long Bien District People's Committee, the theme "Linh Lang - Sacred Spirit Convergence - Long Bien Shines Brightly" contains a profound message connecting the past, present, and future, linking spiritual strength and breakthrough development efforts in the new era, expressing pride in a land rich in cultural traditions, always moving forward with patriotism and aspirations for progress.

There, through the image of Saint Linh Lang in folk beliefs, the public can see the echoes of mythology, the shadows of history, the cultural characteristics, as well as the worldview and philosophy of life of the era, uniquely blended together. The legend reflects the important tasks of flood control and defense against invasion for the Vietnamese people in the Northern Delta region during the nation-building period...

To highlight the theme and significance of the event, the next product from General Director Mai Thanh Tung continues to be invested in, researched, and created with great dedication. Known as the "Leader of Ideas," and with a knack for art events related to traditional festivals, Mai Thanh Tung once again illuminates heritage, making it more radiant and attractive, deeply involved in contemporary life, and profoundly conveying messages of traditional education, contributing to the unique characteristics and identity of each locality.

At the event, General Director Mai Thanh Tung stated: "The art program 'Linh Lang - Sacred Spirit Convergence - Long Bien Shines' continues to be presented in a semi-realistic format combined with 3D mapping technology. The music blends folk and modern influences, and the lighting technology reflects the historical flow through various periods. The performances are meticulously prepared, recreating the legend of Linh Lang Dai Vuong, honoring the patriotic spirit and water management efforts of the people, and the faith and aspirations of Long Bien in the era of national development."

The scenes unfold seamlessly, subtly transitioning with special effects, captivating music, and diverse forms of expression such as singing, dancing, drum ensembles, and traditional Vietnamese dress (áo dài) performances.

The highlight of the program was the reenactment of the "Procession and Sacrifice in the Linh Lang Dai Vuong Festival" with the participation of many generations of people in Long Bien district, demonstrating the spirit of unity in the community; the snake shedding dance ritual combined with artistic 3D mapping performance containing a profound message.

The main stage, located at the Truong Lam communal house and pagoda complex (Viet Hung ward), is an opportunity for the finest intangible cultural heritage of Long Bien district to converge and shine. The meticulous selection of essence, the elaborate and perfect performances by artists and amateur troupes, contribute to affirming the richness and diversity of intangible cultural heritage in Long Bien, demonstrating the meeting, interaction, connection, and dissemination of these heritages.

The program also mentioned President Ho Chi Minh's visit to the locality, memories that the Party Committee, government, and people of Truong Lam are forever proud of and cherish; as well as telling the story of Long Bien today and its aspirations for breakthroughs in the future.

According to the Genealogy compiled by the Academician Nguyen Binh in 1572, the Holy Spirit Lang Dai Vuong was Prince Hoang Lang, son of King Ly Thanh Tong and Queen Hao Nuong. He made significant contributions to defeating the Song invaders in the late 11th century. To commemorate his services, the king bestowed upon him the title "Linh Lang Dai Vuong Thuong Dang Phuc Than" (Supreme Blessed Deity of Linh Lang Dai Vuong) and ordered the construction of a temple on Long Thu Hill, now the Voi Phuc Temple, for his worship. Many other places throughout the country also have temples dedicated to him.
