On April 12th, in an interview with Tri Thuc - Znews , Mr. Ma Doan Khanh, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Lung Cu commune, Tuyen Quang province, stated that the locality is implementing infrastructure projects in Lo Lo Chai village, aiming to make it a shining example of sustainable tourism development in the highlands.
According to the proposed plan, the renovation will be carried out in two phases, focusing on the central spatial axis of the village.
- Phase 1 involves connecting the road from the village cultural center to the Lung Cu Ethnic Boarding Junior High School area.
- Phase 2 involves completing the route from the village gate to the kindergarten, thereby creating a consistent and continuous landscape axis.
Specifically, the project to build a domestic wastewater collection system in the central area of Lung Cu commune and the Lo Lo Chai community tourism village has been approved and is expected to start construction in May. The implementation includes a system of sewers, drains, collection pipes, storage tanks, and auxiliary facilities.

The Lo Lo Chai village road project, including stone paving and drainage culverts, is expected to start in June. The first paved section extends from the village's cultural center to the intersection near Lung Cu Ethnic Boarding Secondary School, spanning 266 meters with a total paved area of approximately 1,150 square meters.
According to the chosen design, the stone-paved road surface will feature patterns inspired by the traditional clothing of the local Lo Lo people. The materials used include Thanh Hoa blue stone, combined with basalt and Sinh Lung stone quarried in Sinh Lung commune. This approach is considered to ensure high durability, ease of cleaning, convenient construction, and to create a distinctive landscape reflecting the local culture.

Leaders of Lung Cu commune believe that investment in Lo Lo Chai goes beyond simply upgrading infrastructure. It's also a necessary step in beautifying the village, preserving its traditional space, protecting the environment, and adapting to the increasing pressure from tourism development. The drainage and road paving projects play a fundamental role in beautifying the space, contributing to shaping a "unique, green, and sustainable" image for Lo Lo Chai.
To ensure long-term effectiveness, the locality will strengthen consultations with specialized agencies and experts in the fields of architecture and tourism; and at the same time promote the role of the local community in preserving the landscape and building a harmonious and sustainable living environment.
