Mask Pan is a product of Goku no Kimochi The Labo, a creative division of the company that operates the Goku no Kimochi head massage parlor, in collaboration with the specialty melon shop chain "Melon de Melon".

Inspired by the popular melonpan bread in Japan, Mask Pan looks exactly like the bread, with a diameter of 12 cm, and is made from real melon bread.

According to the press release, Mask Pan is the world's first edible face mask. The idea originated from a group of college students who loved bread and always dreamed of smelling delicious bread. Together, they created Mask Pan hoping to bring joy and memorable experiences to everyone.

Despite its entertaining nature, Mask Pan doesn't compromise on safety. According to performance tests conducted by Unitika Textileech Laboratory, a third-party testing organization, Mask Pan demonstrated droplet-blocking performance equal to or even better than commercially available masks. This ensures Mask Pan is both aesthetically pleasing and innovative, while maintaining its health-protective function.

Upon its release, Mask Pan received a warm reception from the public. Many expressed their delight with this unique product and quickly placed orders. However, the product is currently only sold and shipped in Japan at a price of 1,800 yen (approximately 377,000 VND) for a pack of 5 (including tax).
