HHV's profit after tax reached 239 billion VND in the first 6 months of 2024

HHV has just announced its financial report for the second quarter of 2 with consolidated revenue reaching nearly 2024 billion VND, profit after tax reaching 814 billion VND, growth of 125% and 32,9% respectively compared to the same period in 14. .

The two main segments contributing the majority of revenue are construction and installation activities and fee collection. Of which, construction revenue reached 302 billion VND, an increase of 58,14% over the same period last year. Toll revenue reached more than 485 billion VND, an increase of 19,9% ​​over the same period in 2023.

Accumulated in the first 6 months of 2024, HHV's revenue reached more than 1.503 billion VND, an increase of 30,56% compared to the first 6 months of 2023. Profit after tax reached nearly 239 billion VND, an increase of more than 24% over the same period. With this result, HHV has completed 59% of the profit plan for 2024.

Construction and installation activities have brought in revenue of more than 498 billion VND, an increase of 51,94% over the same period in 2023, contributing to 33% of HHV's total revenue in the first 6 months of the year. This is considered a "sweet fruit" for half a year of efforts to implement and construct transport infrastructure projects across the country.

In the first half of this year, HHV completed and put into operation the Cam Lam - Vinh Hao Expressway Project from the end of April 4. In addition, the Company also started construction on the Dong Dang - Tra Linh Expressway PPP Project phase 2024 and the Huu Nghi - Chi Lang Expressway PPP Project with a total investment of VND 1 billion.

HHV is also speeding up the construction progress of the Eastern North-South Expressway Component Project, section Quang Ngai – Hoai Nhon with construction contract value of more than 14.500 billion VND.

The toll collection segment also contributes the majority of revenue with 962 billion VND, accounting for 64% of HHV's total revenue in the first 6 months of 2024, an increase of more than 21% over the same period in 2023 thanks to positive growth in vehicle traffic. .

HHV representative said that in the first 6 months of 2024, vehicle traffic through routes operated by the company reached more than 11,9 million vehicles, an increase of 13% compared to the first 6 months of 2023. Estimated average daily Calculating BOT toll stations brought the company more than 5,3 billion VND.
