"The Father's Lie" - a moving song about fatherly love.

Tung Duong said he was moved from the first time he heard the demo, because he himself had experienced childhood memories full of longing when his parents went away to work. "When I was little, I didn't understand, but now that I'm a father, I realize it and love my parents more than ever," the singer shared.

The song was written by composer Dong Thien Duc after a conversation with Tung Duong, when he told him about the handwritten letters his father sent from Russia. Moved by the story, Duc composed the song as a spiritual gift specifically for his senior colleague. "I believe he can tear apart the emotions hidden within the melody," the composer expressed.

" Father 's Lie" is the second song Dong Thien Duc wrote specifically for Tung Duong, after "One Round Around Vietnam ." When asked if the new song would become the next "national hit," Duc just smiled: "Each song has its own destiny. If it's good enough and touches the heart, it will find the listener's heart." He has reason to believe in Tung Duong's voice, because after the loneliness and uncertainty of life, the male singer has found a peaceful haven - a man who is loved, knows how to give and receive.

Tung Duong's voice is full of depth and expansiveness, yet also possesses a burning passion, yearning, and enthusiasm. Listening to him sing, the audience can feel the full spectrum of emotions, life experiences, and yet remain romantic and optimistic.

Currently, Tung Duong is a fulfilled man both in his career and family life. He and his wife, Giang Pham, have a 9-year-old son named Voi, and recently adopted another boy named Soc. “Soc is a new member of our family. He's like a blessing from God. Last year, through a friend in a charity group, we learned about Soc's special circumstances and decided to adopt him. With Soc around, Voi has become much more mature and grown-up,” Tung Duong shared.
