Luong Jérémie Loic Nino (Luong Jeremie) is currently one of Vietnam's fastest male swimmers in short-distance events. He competes with Ho Chi Minh City Swimming and is a highly anticipated figure at the 33rd SEA Games.

Luong Jeremie, born in 2000, has a French father and a Vietnamese mother. He moved to Vietnam with his family in 2010, began training at the Yet Kieu Aquatic Sports Center, and joined the Vietnamese national swimming team in 2018.

Having received formal training from a young age, and possessing an ideal height of 1.95m and long arm span, Luong Jeremie had many advantages in competitions. The turning point came in 2020 when he went to Rennes (France) to study swimming with coach Mathieu Burban, which significantly improved his technique and acceleration.

At the 31st SEA Games held on home soil, this Vietnamese-born athlete won a gold medal in the 4 x 100m freestyle relay, a silver medal in the 4 x 100m individual medley, a silver medal in the 100m freestyle, and a bronze medal in the 50m freestyle. At the 32nd SEA Games in Cambodia, he continued to contribute with three bronze medals.

At the 2024 National Swimming Championships, Luong Jeremie won the gold medal in the men's 100m freestyle (50.43 seconds), the gold medal in the men's 50m freestyle (23.27 seconds), and the silver medal in the men's 50m butterfly (24.41 seconds).

Entering the 33rd SEA Games, the swimmer born in 2000 is expected to continue making important contributions to the achievements of the Vietnamese swimming team.
