"Not because of the ranking, but because of something even more painful. That is the feeling of not being able to perform the last song, which Chi and the crew had devoted all their heart to preparing. A promise Chi sends to the audience and the traditional music band that this "missed appointment" song will be performed on a wonderful stage very close by", the female singer shared.
In a later vlog, Phuong My Chi revealed that she had initially prepared only one song for the final night. However, the competition rules were unexpectedly changed, requiring contestants to prepare three performances. Song of the Southern Land was the last song she prepared.
The singer and her crew worked hard to arrange the performance, combining various musical instruments such as the zither, monochord, moon lute, and flute... Phuong My Chi said that when she entered the backstage, she was moved to see the uncles, aunts, brothers and sisters in the ethnic band had prepared neatly and were ready for the final performance. "Chi was very proud and looked forward to blending with the ethnic sounds, but in the end, she could not do it," she expressed regret.
In the comments section, the audience expressed sympathy with Phuong My Chi, looking forward to enjoying this performance in the near future.
