In the early morning of November 10, the latest match of round 11 of the Premier League ended with a resounding 3-0 victory for Man City over Liverpool. This result helped coach Pep Guardiola's team gain 22 points and rise to 2nd place.
Arsenal still top the rankings with 26 points, despite just being held to a 2-2 draw by newcomer Sunderland.
A 3-0 win over bottom-placed Wolverhampton lifted Chelsea to third place with 20 points.
Newcomer Sunderland (19 points) still holds on to the top 4 of the Premier League after surprisingly holding Arsenal to a draw.
Tottenham and Aston Villa are in 5th and 6th place respectively with 18 points, but the London team is ranked higher due to a better goal difference (+9 compared to +3).
Man United just had a 2-2 draw at Tottenham's home ground. This valuable point helped them rise to 7th place, equal with the reigning champion Liverpool. Both have the same goal difference (+1), however the "red devils" are still ranked higher due to the number of goals scored (19 goals compared to 18 goals).
Coach Amorim's team is showing great improvement after going through their 5th consecutive match unbeaten. Meanwhile, Liverpool continues to disappoint their fans.
The bottom three positions in the rankings still belong to West Ham (10 points), Nottingham Forest (9 points) and Wolverhampton (2 points) respectively.
