On a day when the forwards were ineffective, Manchester United's defenders shone at the right moment. In the 77th minute, Diogo Dalot scored a spectacular long-range goal to seal a 2-1 victory.
Man Utd secured three points, moving up to eighth place in the Premier League table. They are now five points behind third-placed Liverpool.
