(Baohatinh.vn) - With the depth of Eastern culture, for generations, Vietnamese people have always believed that everything in life is a convergence of causes and conditions.

Under the glorious banner of the Party, we are steadfastly moving forward, determined to successfully implement the Resolution of the 14th National Congress, determined to successfully build a peaceful , independent, democratic, prosperous, civilized, and happy Vietnam, steadily advancing towards socialism.

None of us possess the keen intellect and heightened intuition to fully comprehend the workings of the vast universe, but we always believe that when the time is right, blessings will come. This year, the timing of the events is truly beautiful and profoundly meaningful. Perhaps, on the threshold of a new era, the universe has converged, resulting in an early spring (the beginning of spring in 2026 is earlier than in previous years). Perhaps, the heavens and earth seem to have gathered enough auspicious energy to harmonize with the yearning of people for a shared desire for national renewal. The spring blossoms in our hearts bloomed earlier than last year's peach blossoms, before our doorsteps, and even before the traditional Lunar New Year that millions look forward to.

The 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam has just concluded successfully, ushering in spring with warmth, prosperity, and brightness. Truly, few words can adequately express the opportune moment and the magnificent future of our nation!

Amidst the ever-changing rhythm of nature, as the clouds and trees burst with life, I hear a resonance rising within me: “ This spring has arrived in our homeland / Across the vast land and sea / Green trees sprout leaves and blossoms / Welcoming spring to every home, ” a song that composer Xuan Hong had been nurturing for over 10 years before the Liberation of Southern Vietnam.

I'm not dreaming, today and tomorrow are beautiful! I hear those lyrics, that melody echoing from the proud A50 event in 2025. That resonance, in that special event, is sung clearly by the nightingale Phuong My Chi, a voice reminiscent of artists like People's Artist Le Dung, opening up a radiant spring after liberation. Nowhere else like Vietnam has springs like this, and has "The First Spring" (Van Cao) to give us so many springs of reunion, prosperity, and development.

This is how the spring of 2026 begins for me, a continuation of the proud spirit of yesterday - the day when the whole nation united in honor of A50 and A80 with all the gratitude, pride, and honor of the immortal Lac Hong bloodline.

My spring still resonates with lines from the Tale of Kieu by the great poet Nguyen Du, during the 260th anniversary celebration of his birth held in the fragrant jasmine-scented Thanh Sen Square: " Only now do I see this / And my heart has been certain for days ." Now we can clearly see the magnificent beauty of our land, but from the very beginning, since the founding of the Party, the entire nation has been certain of a bright future, and this is most clearly demonstrated by the glorious milestone: the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam (now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam).

Celebrating the 260th anniversary of the birth of the great poet Nguyen Du (1765 - 2025).

Millions of hearts across Vietnam look back at the past with immense pride and joyful excitement. Each person seems filled with greater determination and a desire to soar into the vast sky, fulfilling their ambitions in the new year. At the beginning of 2026, our Party has demonstrated strong political resolve and a deep sense of responsibility for the nation's future, igniting aspirations across the S-shaped land for a prosperous and thriving Vietnam. We believe in this, we believe in a Vietnam that will "stand shoulder to shoulder with the great powers of the world," as our beloved President Ho Chi Minh always believed and hoped.

In the warm spring sunshine, I hear even more clearly the resounding echoes of the solemn words and the fervent belief in the future of the country, as resolved by the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam: “Under the glorious banner of the Party, we will work together to successfully achieve the national development goals by 2030; achieve strategic autonomy, self-reliance, self-confidence, and strong progress in the era of national development, for peace, independence, democracy, prosperity, civilization, happiness, and steadily advance towards socialism.”

The earth and sky have harmonized with spring. The tender leaves on the gnarled peach branches in front of my house have unfurled a delicate, fresh color. Those peach branches, thought to have been ravaged by the storms of 2025, have been revitalized by the passing of the tempest. The vibrant new shoots of all the trees in this land seem to want to sprout faster and stronger, to breathe in the air of the universe, to compensate for the damage left behind by the storms. The strength of the trees is like the spirit of each person in Ha Tinh , and of each person in Vietnam – always reaching towards the sunlight, leaving behind the darkness, even though darkness is always the place where wounds are hidden, like the scars left by typhoons number 5 and 10.

Spring sunshine fills every corner; many houses that collapsed after natural disasters now have new tiled roofs; goals for the new year are clearly outlined nationwide and in Ha Tinh, along with carefully discussed solutions. Everything awaits the hands and minds of each official, Party member, and citizen to work together, turning aspirations into reality, dreams into achievements, and creating a solid foundation for the future. Promises always originate from the present; the results of tomorrow are the starting point of today's plans.

The significant and historically meaningful achievements of the reform process are a powerful testament to the achievements of the Party building and rectification process.

In just a short time, we will hold our ballots in our hands to elect worthy representatives to the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels. Earning that ballot is the result of a long process of dedication and sacrifice by countless generations who have built and developed the nation, silently entrusting us with the power of self-determination and placing their hopes in each of us.

In the harmony between heaven and earth and the human heart, spring is the beginning of a promise. Let us make a promise to ourselves, a promise to the collective, so that each of us may be a flower for each collective, each a garden of flowers, so that this entire country may always have flowers and fruits in all four seasons. A strong and prosperous Vietnam must first and foremost come from each sincere, progressive, and aspirational heart.

Let us yearn for a vibrant era of progress, just as Lady Trieu once yearned: "I only wish to ride the strong winds, trample the fierce waves, and slay the whales in the East Sea"...
