On August 30th, in an interview with Tuoi Tre Online , owners of many hotels, homestays, and accommodation establishments in Mang Den, Quang Ngai, stated that there were no vacancies left, even though many tourists were still contacting them to book rooms, but they were unable to do so.

Local government statistics also show that accommodation establishments in Mang Den commune currently have a 100% occupancy rate.

Mr. Le Nguyen, owner of Nha Le homestay in Mang Den commune, said that from August 30th and 31st, the booking system was fully booked. On September 1st and 2nd, the occupancy rate reached approximately 90%, and the number of bookings continued to increase. Mr. Nguyen predicted that the few remaining rooms would also be booked by the evening of August 30th.

"Not only my establishment, but many other businesses are also fully booked for the September 2nd holiday," Mr. Nguyen said.

Mr. Bui Viet Ha, chairman of the Mang Den Tourism Association, said that most hotels and homestays were fully booked during the holiday period, especially during the peak period from August 30 to September 2.

During the September 2nd holiday, the local authorities planned cultural and tourism activities to serve visitors coming to Mang Den.

Mr. Dong The Danh, deputy head of the Culture and Social Affairs Department of Mang Den commune, said that during the holiday, the commune organizes the "Mang Den Market Food Festival," introducing local specialties and cultural products to tourists.

In addition, the art program at the Mang Den market and night market, featuring performances by gong and drum ensembles, adds an attractive highlight.

According to Mr. Danh, Mang Den is expected to welcome approximately 20,000 visitors for sightseeing and relaxation during this year's September 2nd holiday.

It is projected that by 2025, Mang Den commune will welcome around 1.56 million visitors for sightseeing and relaxation.
