Mbappe delivers two pieces of bad news to Real Madrid at the same time.

Besides the disappointment of their Champions League defeat, Real Madrid received further bad news regarding Mbappe, just hours after he was banned from playing in La Liga.

In the 75th minute of the Champions League match against Arsenal on the morning of April 17th, Mbappe limped off the field due to injury. He appeared to be in pain in his ankle and was forced to be replaced by Brahim Diaz.

This situation also capped off a disastrous week for the French superstar. Earlier last week, he was Real Madrid's best player in their shock 0-3 defeat to Arsenal, but also missed a series of chances.

Last weekend, Mbappe caused great disappointment when he committed a brutal foul. The French superstar stomped his studs directly on the ankle of Deportivo Alaves player Blanco, and the referee immediately showed him a red card.
