Mbappe hospitalized for gastritis

Previously, Mbappe had a fever and could not play in the match Real Madrid was held to a 1-1 draw by Al Hilal in the opening match of Group H of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.

However, the possibility of the French star missing Real Madrid's match against Mexico's Pachuca on June 23 is quite high. But he can still return for Real's final match against Austria's RB Salzburg on June 27.

Mbappe has scored 43 goals in 56 games in all competitions for Real Madrid in his first season after joining the Bernabeu outfit on a free transfer from Paris St-Germain.
