According to Neowin , net income in the fourth quarter reached $21.9 billion, while Microsoft's earnings per share were $2.93. These figures far exceeded the estimates of financial analysts.

Microsoft's revenue increased across all divisions.
Microsoft Cloud revenue accounted for just over half of the company's total revenue last quarter at $33.7 billion, up from $27.1 billion a year earlier. The company also reported that Microsoft 365 Consumer subscriptions reached $78.4 million, up from $63.2 million in the same period last year.
The company's Productivity & Business Processes division generated $19.2 billion in revenue during the quarter, a 13% increase year-over-year. Its Intelligent Cloud division achieved $25.9 billion in revenue, a 20% increase over the same period last year.
The More Personal Computing division, which includes the Windows, devices, and Xbox divisions, generated $16.9 billion in revenue during the quarter. Meanwhile, the Xbox division saw a sharp 61% increase in revenue, primarily driven by the acquisition of Activision Blizzard, which concluded in October 2023.
Overall Windows revenue increased by 9%, with Windows OEM revenue rising 11% while revenue from Windows commercial products and cloud services increased by 9% compared to a year earlier.
