According to the National Center for Meteorological and Hydrological Forecasting, currently (June 27th), the Northern region is experiencing localized showers and thunderstorms.

On June 27th, both day and night, the Northern region will experience scattered showers and thunderstorms with rainfall amounts of 10-30mm, with some areas receiving over 70mm (rain concentrated in the morning, afternoon, and night). The Thanh Hoa and Nghe An areas, the Central Highlands, and the Southern region will also experience scattered showers and thunderstorms with rainfall amounts of 10-30mm, with some areas receiving over 50mm (rain concentrated in the afternoon and evening). During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong gusts of wind.

Thunderstorms accompanied by tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong winds can affect agricultural production, cause trees to fall, damage houses, transportation infrastructure, and other facilities. Localized heavy rainfall may cause flash floods on small rivers and streams, landslides on slopes, and flooding in low-lying areas. The level of natural disaster risk due to tornadoes, lightning, and hail is level 1.

At sea, scattered showers and thunderstorms are currently occurring in the central South China Sea and the Gulf of Thailand . Phu Quy Island has strong southwest winds of force 5, sometimes force 6; rough seas. Additionally, on June 27th, both day and night, scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected in the northern Gulf of Tonkin, from Ca Mau to An Giang, the Gulf of Thailand, and the central South China Sea. Tornadoes and strong gusts of wind (force 7-8) are possible during thunderstorms; sea waves will be over 2.0m high. The level of natural disaster risk at sea is level 2.

All vessels operating in these areas are at high risk of being affected by strong winds and high waves.
