TPO - From this evening (June 29) until tomorrow night, the North will continue to experience moderate to heavy rain, with cool weather. Quang Ninh, Hai Phong, Hung Yen, and Ninh Binh also experienced thunderstorms this morning. The Central region will continue to have hot weather, but with reduced intensity. The Central Highlands and Southern Vietnam will have scattered thunderstorms in the late afternoon and evening.

Last night and early this morning (June 29), the Northern region experienced moderate to heavy rain and thunderstorms, with some areas experiencing very heavy rain.

Rainfall measured from 7 PM on June 28th to 3 AM on June 29th exceeded 100mm in some areas, such as Xuan Lap (Tuyen Quang) 211mm, Tan Lap 2 (Tuyen Quang) 165mm, Tan Khanh (Thai Nguyen) 111mm, Can Yen (Cao Bang) 116.2mm, and Thuong Cat ( Hanoi ) 107.2mm.

Forecasts indicate that from early morning on June 29th to the night of June 30th, the Northern region and Thanh Hoa province will continue to experience moderate to heavy rain and thunderstorms with rainfall amounts generally ranging from 50-120mm, and locally exceeding 300mm. The rain will be concentrated in the late afternoon, evening, and morning. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong gusts of wind.

The meteorological agency warned of the risk of heavy rainfall exceeding 100mm in 3 hours, which could cause flooding in low-lying areas, flash floods, and landslides on slopes in mountainous and hilly regions.

Thanks to the thunderstorms, the weather in the North is cool. Today's highest temperature will be 30-33 degrees, and the lowest 24-27 degrees.

Hanoi today will be cloudy with moderate to heavy rain and thunderstorms, with very heavy rain in some areas. The rain will be concentrated in the late afternoon, evening, night, and morning. South to southeast winds will be at level 2-3. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong gusts of wind.

The lowest temperature will be 25-27 degrees Celsius. The highest temperature will be 31-33 degrees Celsius.

Khánh Hòa and the former Bình Thuận province will experience localized heatwaves, with scattered showers and thunderstorms in the late afternoon and evening, and locally heavy rain. Southwesterly winds will be at level 2-3. There is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, and strong gusts of wind during thunderstorms.

The lowest temperature will be 25-28 degrees Celsius. The highest temperature will be 32-35 degrees Celsius, with some areas exceeding 35 degrees Celsius.

Southwesterly winds will be at level 2-3. The lowest temperature will be 24-27 degrees Celsius. The highest temperature will be 31-34 degrees Celsius, with some areas exceeding 34 degrees Celsius.
