Today, February 15, 2025, the price of live pigs has seen a sharp increase in the Southern and Central-Western Highlands regions. Many localities have reached 73,000 VND/kg.

Northern region

Today's live pig prices (February 15, 2025) in the northern region continue to remain stable across provinces and cities.

Currently, live pig prices in this region remain in the range of 70,000 - 72,000 VND/kg. Phu Tho and Bac Giang are the two localities with the highest live pig prices in the region at 72,000 VND/kg. Conversely, Lao Cai , Nam Dinh, and Ninh Binh are all trading at 70,000 VND/kg, the lowest in the region.

Central and Central Highlands region

Today's live pig prices (February 15, 2025) in the Central and Central Highlands regions recorded a sharp increase again in localities such as Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Hue, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Khanh Hoa, and Ninh Thuan, all increasing by 1,000 VND/kg. Dak Lak, in particular, saw a significant increase of 2,000 VND/kg, reaching 70,000 VND/kg.

Currently, live pig prices in this region range from 69,000 to 72,000 VND/kg. Binh Thuan and Lam Dong have the highest live pig prices in the region at 72,000 VND/kg. Conversely, Quang Tri, Quang Nam, Khanh Hoa, and Binh Dinh have the lowest live pig prices in the region at 69,000 VND/kg.

Southern region

Pork prices in the Southern region today (February 15, 2025) recorded a rebound, increasing by 1,000 to 2,000 VND/kg in provinces and cities such as Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Long An, Dong Thap, Can Tho, Kien Giang, Ca Mau, Bac Lieu, Soc Trang, and Vinh Long.

Currently, live pig prices in this region fluctuate between 70,000 and 73,000 VND/kg. Among them, along with Dong Nai, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Can Tho, and Ca Mau provinces have set a new price of 73,000 VND/kg, the highest price for live pigs. The remaining provinces and cities in the region trade within the range of 70,000 - 72,000 VND/kg.

Overall, today's live pig prices (February 15, 2025) show a renewed upward trend in the Southern and Central-Central Highlands regions, while remaining stable in the North. Currently, live pig prices are trading in the range of 69,000 – 73,000 VND/kg.
