In the early days of winter, as the cold wind sweeps in, the pristine white mustard fields of Moc Chau begin to bloom. From the hillsides, valleys, and villages, a vast expanse of white mustard flowers competes to catch the sunlight, bursting into pure white blossoms. The delicate stems and small branches, like tiny arms, reach out to support the clusters of tiny flowers. The fragile petals spread out to welcome the sun, forming carpets of flowers that create a strangely pure and pristine feeling. Amidst this vast, boundless carpet of flowers stretching to the green hills, the wind whistles and bees buzz, collecting nectar. The fields of flowers display their white blossoms, filling the sky with a gentle fragrance, bringing a feeling of tranquility and serenity.

Mustard flowers were originally grown by the people of Moc Chau for their green vegetables, fresh radishes, or seeds for oil pressing facilities. However, nowadays, mustard is cultivated on a much larger scale, covering tens of hectares, primarily for tourism development. The mustard flowers bloom from the beginning of November to the end of December (lunar calendar), their pristine white blossoms stretching from the fields to the mountain slopes, winding along the roads leading to the villages... everywhere you look, the white of the mustard flowers adorns Moc Chau, giving it a new look amidst the cold weather. This is why Moc Chau attracts so many tourists, backpackers, and photographers.

Mustard flowers can be found everywhere in the Moc Chau plateau, such as in Na Ka Valley (Nong Truong town); Chieng Son commune; Muong Sang commune... These areas have gently sloping terrain and many flat valleys, allowing the mustard flowers to bloom to their fullest, leaving visitors mesmerized. But the most famous and familiar to travel enthusiasts is the pine forest in Ban Ang, Dong Sang commune (Moc Chau). Groups of tourists stroll and explore the blooming mustard flower fields, showcasing their pristine white blossoms on the hillsides... Tourists from near and far, dressed in the traditional clothing of the Mong and Thai ethnic groups, pose and take photos. Couples come to take wedding photos, gently walking hand in hand amidst the pristine flower carpet to capture beautiful images to remember this important milestone in their lives. Standing amidst the vast, expansive mustard fields, letting your soul wander in the nature and sky, closing your eyes to enjoy the cool breeze and the scent of mustard flowers caressing your cheeks, is a truly wonderful feeling.
