“In just a few years, this place has changed beyond belief. This is thanks to the unity of the people of Ban Muong, especially the road that has been widened through the efforts of the community,” said Hoang Van On, head of the Ban Muong neighborhood group, smiling as he looked at the road that embodies the hard work and sweat of himself and the local people.
Mr. On's story is just one example contributing to the new face of Cau Thia ward – a land formed by the merger of four communes and one ward. With an area of 31.84 km² and nearly 26,000 inhabitants, it is a shared space for 10 ethnic groups, with ethnic minorities accounting for over 86%. This culturally diverse land has become a shining example in building new rural areas and civilized urban areas, with each citizen being a dynamic subject of development.

“In Cau Thia, no movement remains merely a slogan. Every campaign is concretized through actions and practical models, closely linked to the lives of the people,” shared Mr. Bui Dinh Vuong, Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Cau Thia Ward.
Indeed, from the campaigns "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas," "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods," to the movements "Saturday with the people," and "Skilled people mobilization," all bear the strong imprint of the spirit of solidarity. "Women's self-managed road sections," "security and order self-management groups," the "Lighting up rural roads" model, or village regulations and conventions promoting civilized lifestyles in weddings and funerals... have transformed every street corner, every house, and every habit of the people.

Ms. Pham Thi Qui, President of the Women's Union of Cau Thia Ward, proudly stated: "The Union has mobilized women to actively participate in the 'Building a Family with 5 No's and 3 Cleanliness Standards' and 'Modern Vietnamese Women' movements. More than 35 livelihood models have been supported, and 11 shelters of love have been built with a total value of nearly 330 million VND. Behind these figures are smiles and renewed hope for poor women who now have a roof over their heads and a livelihood to improve their lives."
Among the dynamic women's association officials, Ms. Lo Thi Hoa is a prime example. She has directly monitored and guided 9 grassroots women's associations, helping the movement to deepen. As a result, women members are more confident in economic development – becoming a core force in preserving cultural identity and building a civilized life.

Farmers in Cau Thia ward have also left many significant marks. Mr. Hoang Xuan Lien, Chairman of the Ward Farmers' Association, enthusiastically recounted the movement of donating land to build roads: In the Kha Ha, Ban Lao, and Ban Khinh residential areas alone, people have donated more than 10,000 m² of land and contributed thousands of man-days to build 5 km of inter-village roads. These roads have opened up a new way of life, making it easier for farmers' agricultural products to reach the market. From rice paddies and corn fields, many economic models have emerged as shining examples, such as the family of Ms. Hoang Thi Ngai in Na Duong residential area with 3,000 m² of sweet corn, which has a stable income; and the family of Mr. Nguyen Van Trong with the purebred Seng Cu rice model at An Son Cooperative, which has achieved outstanding yields and high economic value...
The golden harvest season is in full swing in Cau Thia, heralding a prosperous life. Alongside economic development, the movement to build a cultured way of life in Cau Thia ward is also being strongly implemented. Accordingly, 100% of residential areas have established community regulations and rules; and 100% have a Scholarship Fund to support poor students.

In An Son residential area, the "All People United in Building a Culturally Rich Life" movement has been enthusiastically embraced by the residents. Not only are they preserving a civilized lifestyle, but they are also actively building cultural and sports facilities, reviving traditional values. From volleyball courts and community centers to traditional festivals, all contribute to brightening the spiritual lives of the people. In particular, the goal of building "happy villages" and "happy families" has become a driving force. To date, the percentage of culturally exemplary families in the ward has reached over 90% – a testament to the strong bonds of neighborly affection and the collective efforts of the community.

Walking through each residential area of Cau Thia ward, one easily encounters ordinary faces writing extraordinary stories. Mr. Hoang Van On, with his extended concrete road in Ban Muong; Ms. Lo Thi Bun and Ms. Ha Thi Tien in Ban Phieng residential area, have overcome difficulties, connecting with the Legal Affairs Union and the Social Policy Bank to mobilize support for building houses for poor households, worth tens of millions of dong. They not only bring new homes but also give hope and sow seeds of faith for families still struggling. These farmers, who daily toil on the land, cultivate sweet corn and Seng Cu rice...

The achievements of Cau Thia ward are measured not only by newly opened roads, newly built houses, or effective economic models, but also by the spirit of solidarity and the people's trust in the Party and the government. The Ward's Fatherland Front Committee and other mass organizations have supported the construction of 74 houses for poor and near-poor households with a total value of 350 million VND. The poverty rate has decreased by an average of 1.5% per year, reaching only 5.1% by 2025. The material and spiritual lives of the people have improved, and the environment is becoming increasingly bright, green, clean, and beautiful.

Today, Cau Thia is woven with the colors of abundant fields, straight roads, warm and welcoming homes, and resilient people... Each resident of Cau Thia is truly a shining example for the community, a testament to the strength of solidarity, the aspiration to prosper, and the building of a cultural life rich in identity.
