On the afternoon of July 3rd, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training officially announced the entrance exam scores for 10th grade in the 2024-2025 school year.

Accordingly, Nguyen Thuong Hien High School continues to lead in the entrance exam cutoff score, with 24.25 points (first choice). Thus, candidates must have an average score of over 8 points in each subject to pass. After Nguyen Thuong Hien High School, three other high schools have the same cutoff score of 23.25 points: Nguyen Huu Huan High School, Tran Phu High School, and Nguyen Thi Minh Khai High School.

Next, Gia Dinh High School and the Practice High School - University of Education (Ho Chi Minh City) both have a 10th grade entrance exam cutoff score of 23 points; Mac Dinh Chi High School, Le Quy Don High School, Phu Nhuan High School, and Nguyen Huu Cau High School all have a cutoff score of 22.5 points.

Compared to last year, only the High School of Practice - University of Education saw an increase of 0.5 points. The remaining schools all saw a decrease in their admission scores, ranging from 0.25 to 1.25 points.

The lowest entrance exam scores for 10th grade in Ho Chi Minh City in 2024 were at Binh Khanh, An Nghia, and Can Thanh High Schools, with 10.5 points. This score is similar to last year. Many other schools in Can Gio and Cu Chi districts, and Thu Duc City also had low entrance scores, ranging from 10.5 to 12 points.

Entrance exam cutoff scores for 10th grade in Hai Phong in 2024-2025

On the afternoon of July 3rd, the Hai Phong Department of Education and Training also announced the (first round) cutoff scores for admission to 10th grade for the 2024-2025 school year.

Ngo Quyen High School has the highest cutoff score with 42.75 points, while the high school with the lowest cutoff score in the city is 15.5 points. Thus, the Hai Phong Department of Education and Training announced the cutoff scores for 10th grade earlier than previously expected (July 5th).

Ben Tre Grade 10 Entrance Exam Scores 2024-2025

According to the schedule for the 2024-2025 entrance exam for 10th grade in public high schools, high schools in Ben Tre will announce the exam results and provide instructions on how to submit appeals, as well as the schedule for exam appeals, no later than July 3, 2024. The Ben Tre Department of Education and Training will announce the appeal schedule on July 15, 2024.

Grade 10 Physics: 32 students have a total score of 35.00 or higher.

Grade 10 Chemistry: 30 students with a total score of 36.75 or higher.

Grade 10 Biology: 30 students with a total score of 35.50 or higher.

Grade 10 Literature: 25 students with a total score of 32.75 or higher.

Grade 10 History - Geography: 30 students (Including 15 students specializing in History with a total score of 32.35 or higher + 15 students specializing in Geography with a total score of 30.55 or higher)

Grade 10 English: 31 students achieved a total score of 36.35 or higher.

The cutoff score for admission to 10th grade in the 2024-2025 school year at Phan Thanh Giản High School, Ben Tre, is 41.88 points.

Bac Giang Province Grade 10 Entrance Exam Scores 2024-2025

On the afternoon of July 3rd, the Bac Giang Department of Education and Training announced the cut-off scores for admission to 10th grade in high schools for the 2024-2025 school year.

Accordingly, Ngo Si Lien High School (Bac Giang City) has the highest admission cutoff score with 22.93 points.

Schools will receive the list of admitted students from 2 PM on July 4th and notify the candidates. They will organize the enrollment process from July 5th to July 8th and submit a report on the enrollment results to the Department of Education and Training before 11 AM on July 9th, 2024.
