Series of major events in the second half of the year

Mr. Phan Van Mai requested that departments and localities focus on implementing tasks from 50 projects to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Southern Vietnam, as well as other key projects. Accordingly, focus should be placed on completing and following up on the Ho Chi Minh City - Moc Bai Expressway project and the Can Gio International Transshipment Port project.

"These two dossiers are currently on the Government's Standing Committee's desk; we need to continue monitoring them so that the investment policy can be approved this August," Mr. Mai stated.

In addition, the next step is to finalize and submit the dossiers for the following projects: the Ring Road 4 project, the urban railway project, and the International Financial Center project. Mr. Mai noted that the dossiers for these three projects need to be completed urgently for submission to the Government, which will then report to the Politburo and present them to the National Assembly at the end-of-year session.

According to Chairman Phan Van Mai, the International Financial Center project, as announced by the Ministry of Planning and Investment, will only be reported to the Politburo by October 11th. Therefore, if the city registers and reports on schedule, it will still be eligible to submit it to the National Assembly.
