Momo is experiencing issues and cannot log in to the service.

On the morning of October 19th, MoMo e-wallet users nationwide simultaneously experienced issues logging into the application on their mobile devices. The software only displayed a message stating: "An error occurred during processing or a network connection was lost. Please try again."

The unexpected outage of Vietnam's leading e-wallet has caused inconvenience and disruption to a large number of users. All money transfers, purchases, and payments were impossible, forcing users to find alternative solutions through bank apps or use cash.

Payment transactions were disrupted on a large scale due to a MoMo e-wallet malfunction.

Some users reported that their MoMo e-wallet account balances suddenly dropped to zero, while others lost their links to previously established bank accounts. Rumors quickly spread on Facebook about a technical issue from the publisher.

Around 12 PM on the same day, MoMo's official Facebook fanpage announced the incident, confirming the cause was "system maintenance which will be completed as soon as possible." The e-wallet provider also assured customers that their accounts and funds remained secure. "We sincerely apologize for this experience," MoMo shared.

However, by around 1 PM, MoMo was still unable to completely resolve the issue and restore the system to its original state, with some display errors remaining. To use the service normally, customers would have to log out of their accounts and log back in. A MoMo representative affirmed that this was only maintenance and would not affect customer rights.

Currently, the issue has been completely resolved by MoMo.
