On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day on September 2nd, millions of people across the country, including the people of Dong Nai province, were joyful and moved to receive the Independence Day gift from the Party and the State.

Commenting on the Dong Nai Newspaper's Facebook page, many readers expressed their delight at receiving a 100,000 VND gift on this meaningful occasion. While not a large sum in monetary terms, it is a practical gesture, deeply humane, and demonstrates the Party and State's concern for the people's lives during this important national holiday.

Sharing on the Dong Nai Newspaper's Facebook page, Facebook user Nguyen Pham wrote: "100,000 VND for each Vietnamese citizen to celebrate Independence Day on September 2nd, 2025. Although the material value is not high, it represents the heartfelt affection and compassion of the Party and the State for our compatriots... A small gift but a big heart. The pride of the Vietnamese nation; nothing can buy the peace and happiness we have today."

Sharing in the joy, Facebook user Ngoc Ngoc wrote: "Congratulations to everyone who received gifts, that's wonderful!". User Chau Quoc emphasized: "Truly a joyous occasion for the people of Dong Nai province."

In Tran Bien ward (Dong Nai province), the payment process was implemented systematically, ensuring no eligible person was left out. According to Nguyen Duy Tan, Chairman of the Tran Bien Ward People's Committee: Immediately after receiving the directive, the ward developed a plan to coordinate with the local police and other organizations to compile a list of households and assign personnel to receive and disburse payments. The process was conducted seriously and efficiently, ensuring that every citizen felt the government's concern.

“The gift has become a bonding agent between the government and the people during the 80th anniversary of National Day on September 2nd. Although it's a small gift, the spirit is immense; the local people were very happy and moved when they signed to receive it. This money not only contributes to supporting people in celebrating Independence Day warmly and meaningfully, but also strengthens their faith in the leadership of the Party and the State, social welfare policies, and the spirit of 'leaving no one behind'," Mr. Tan shared.

Fast and convenient payments, combined with digital transformation.

Observations at gift distribution points in wards and communes throughout the province show that people are all delighted to receive gifts. At these direct distribution points, each household only needs to send one representative with a chip-based citizen ID card to sign for the gifts for all members. The procedure is simple, transparent, and the waiting time is short, creating satisfaction within the community.

“By early afternoon on September 1st, the State Bank of Vietnam's regional branch 2 had completed the disbursement of 345 billion VND to credit institutions in Dong Nai province to be transferred to communes and wards for the distribution of gifts for Independence Day. These 100,000 VND gifts were delivered directly to the people, to the right recipients, in accordance with regulations, in a swift, orderly, and thoughtful manner.”

Facebook user Loan Vũ shared: “Receiving the gifts was very quick and easy, everyone. The local police recorded the number of people in each family, and each family sent one representative with their ID card to sign for receipt, and the money was collected very quickly. My family received ours this morning.”

According to Nguyen Duc Leinh, Deputy Director of the State Bank of Vietnam, Region 2: Besides cash payments, many credit institutions are also implementing solutions to support people in accessing electronic public services, such as guiding people on installing the VNeID application, opening bank accounts, and giving small gifts when using digital banking services. “The gift-giving activity is not only about implementing policies to support the people, but also about popularizing and popularizing electronic public services, creating conditions for people to gradually become familiar with the national digital identity and moving towards a two-tiered digital government model,” Mr. Leinh shared.

Moved by receiving the gift, Facebook user Nguyen Ngoc Lam wrote: "Thank you to the Party and the Government for caring for the Vietnamese people on this important holiday!" Similarly, Facebook user Loan Hung wrote briefly but sincerely: "I received it, thank you to the State."

For many people, receiving money is not just about receiving money, but also about receiving care, closeness, and a spirit of sharing from the local government.
