Every spring, Moc Chau ( Son La ) dons its most gentle and vibrant attire. During this season, the white blossoms of plum trees and the golden yellow of mustard flowers brilliantly color the hillsides. Tourists are also captivated by the red of strawberries and the ripe orange and persimmon orchards.
Even though it's nearly 200km from Hanoi , you can easily take a quick getaway in just 24 hours. This amount of time is still enough to capture a whole collection of photos, from pristine white plum blossoms to orchards laden with oranges.
To fully enjoy a day in Moc Chau, Ms. Dang Huyen (born 1991, Hanoi) chose to travel overnight. She shared: "Although I didn't have much time, because the flowers were so beautiful during the season and I didn't want to miss it, I decided to leave Hanoi at 2 am. I arrived in Moc Chau at 7 am and started my photography trip as soon as the morning sun rose."
Currently, the price for a limousine or sleeper bus directly from Hanoi to Moc Chau is around 250,000 VND per way, including a transfer to the destination. If you drive your own car, National Highway 6 is quite wide and easy to navigate, although there are many mountain passes.

Upon arrival, after a quick breakfast, the female tourist headed to the plum valley. Compared to Na Ka or Mu Nau, the plums in the Cho Long sub-area are highly regarded for their beautiful trees and abundant blossoms, making photography easier.
Under the morning sun, just as the mist has lifted, the pristine white plum blossoms look their best in photos. Spend two hours here, and you'll enjoy walking beneath the pure white plum trees and taking beautiful pictures.

Leaving the plum valley, visitors should seek out the remaining rose gardens of winter. Unlike the vibrant blossoms, the rose gardens offer a more tranquil and romantic atmosphere. The leaves have all fallen, leaving only ripe, red berries hanging heavily on the bare branches.
After a tiring morning's journey, you can stop by restaurants in the town center to recharge with delicious local specialties.

Simply standing amidst the orchards, inhaling the refreshing scent of oranges carried on the gentle breeze, will make all fatigue disappear.
The orchard, laden with vibrant oranges, has become an ideal spot for taking Instagram-worthy photos, attracting many visitors to come and take pictures. Entrance tickets to the orchard cost 40,000 VND per adult and 10,000 VND per child.

At this time, the mist has dissipated and the sunlight is gentle, making the scenery in the canola fields even more vibrant for photos. Visitors can freely experience and take pictures in the canola fields in Moc Chau for about 30,000 VND per person.
Leaving Moc Chau around 5 PM, you'll arrive back in Hanoi between 9 PM and 10 PM. Although it's a fast-paced and physically demanding trip, the amazing experiences and stunning photos you'll gain are well worth the effort.
Sharing her experience, Ms. Huyen excitedly said: "I was truly amazed by the beauty of Moc Chau this season. The peaceful atmosphere with endless fields of blooming flowers made me feel incredibly relaxed. You can take many beautiful photos as souvenirs from any angle. The entire cost of this trip was less than one million VND."
