Sa Huynh is the name of a coastal area stretching south of Quang Ngai province, located in Duc Pho district. According to local people, the name Sa Huynh means "golden sand," referring to the characteristic color of the sand in the region. It is an important estuary and one of the bustling fishing ports in Central Vietnam.
