Baleba is on Manchester United's radar.

According to Fichajes , Brighton value Baleba at over £100 million and firmly deny any speculation that they are willing to lower the price if they have to part ways with the midfielder.

Despite Baleba's form slowing down at the start of the season, Brighton maintained their stance of not lowering the transfer fee. Previously, many clubs had valued the midfielder at around £70-80 million.

From Brighton's perspective, Baleba possesses exceptional qualities, capable of making an immediate impact as well as having long-term development potential.

From Manchester United's perspective, the Old Trafford club is closely monitoring the situation. With manager Ruben Amorim looking to rebuild the midfield, Baleba is considered the ideal player, possessing the physical attributes, spatial awareness, game reading ability, and Premier League experience.

Sources close to the matter indicate that MU is having difficulty finding replacements of comparable quality and potential, which inadvertently gives Brighton the upper hand in negotiations.

Brighton chairman Paul Barber has confirmed that the club has not received any offers from Manchester United and has no intention of selling Baleba, not only in the current transfer window but also in the future. Internally, Brighton views this as a strategy to test the level of commitment from their potential buyer. If Manchester United are truly serious, they will have to make a worthy offer.

A stunning goal helped MU beat Newcastle. In the early hours of December 27th, Patrick Dorgu executed a beautiful one-touch volley to give MU a 1-0 victory over Newcastle in the 18th round of the Premier League.
