Nậm Pồ held its first folk dance competition.

With the theme "Healthy and Beautiful Dance," the Nậm Pồ District Folk Dance Competition attracted 23 teams, comprising nearly 300 officials, members, and female workers from 15 local associations, schools, and trade union organizations in the district. The teams presented numerous songs praising their homeland, country, family, and the fine traditions of Vietnamese women, as well as many meticulously rehearsed and elaborately prepared sports folk dances. These performances adhered to the theme and theme, creating a vibrant atmosphere and leaving a strong impression on delegates and the audience.

The competition is a practical activity to celebrate the 114th anniversary of International Women's Day (March 8, 1910 - March 8, 2024) and the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024); it is a healthy and beneficial playground for female cadres and members to showcase their talents, creativity, and confidence; to foster solidarity, contribute to improving the cultural and spiritual life of women, and develop the folk dance movement in the locality.
