Improving the quality of new rural areas

QNgTV - After 16 years of implementing the National Target Program for building new rural areas, the appearance of rural Quang Ngai has improved significantly, infrastructure is becoming more synchronized, and people's lives have improved remarkably.

The transportation infrastructure in Dinh Cuong commune is increasingly improving in a way that is bright, green, clean, and beautiful.

In various localities, many effective economic development solutions have been implemented, such as restructuring crop patterns, vocational training, and livelihood support. Essential infrastructure such as electricity, roads, schools, and health stations have been invested in, contributing to changing the face of rural areas towards a more civilized and modern direction.

The movement to build new rural areas continues to spread widely. Many effective production models have been replicated, helping to reduce poverty sustainably. The poverty rate has decreased, people's lives have improved, and the rural environment is becoming increasingly bright, green, clean, and beautiful.

During the period 2026-2030, Quang Ngai aims to have over 65% of its communes meet the new rural standards, develop approximately 500 OCOP products, and promote participation in modern distribution channels.

Localities are also focusing on developing agriculture in an ecological direction, applying technology, linking it with tourism and digital transformation.

Improving the quality of the criteria has been identified as a key task, aiming towards building a modern and sustainable new rural area.
