The competition content includes: legal knowledge and social knowledge relevant to professional work in the fields of justice and civil registration. Specifically, it focuses on administrative reform and procedures in the fields of justice and civil registration; implementation of democratic regulations at the commune level; handling administrative violations, resolving complaints and denunciations; grassroots mediation; and laws on preventing and combating social evils.
The competition provides an opportunity for judicial and civil registry officials in the province to interact, exchange experiences, proactively learn about the law, and be creative in their performance. Besides mastering content related to their functions and duties, the contestants also demonstrate legal knowledge and skills to effectively handle situations related to people's lives, concerning civil registration, civil law, marriage and family, adoption, etc.
Awards were presented to the participating teams.
As a result, the first prize went to Tri Ton district, the second prize to Chau Phu district, and the third prize to Long Xuyen city. In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded 8 consolation prizes; and 2 special prizes for "Best Answer to a Situation" and "Most Impressive Skit Performance" to Thoai Son and Phu Tan districts. According to the Organizing Committee, this result stemmed from the meticulous preparation of the organizing unit, the enthusiastic participation of the competing teams, and the support of the spectators.
The participating teams made every effort to perform well in their respective sections, strictly adhering to the competition regulations. For the multiple-choice section, most answered correctly. In the situational problem-solving section, the teams prepared well, clearly stating the applicable legal basis, demonstrating their dedication, research, and study of regulations, and providing accurate answers. The legal awareness skills section was well-executed, with fluent presentations and a skillful combination of theatrical elements (singing, chanting, rhymes, etc.). Some teams presented quite impressively, with good acting, investing in unique settings and costumes; highlighting the distinctive features of their locality and unit; and linking the legal awareness and dissemination activities of judicial and civil registry officials in resolving issues arising at the grassroots level.

All the contestants in the team were enthusiastic, dedicated, and eager to learn and update their knowledge to participate in the competition in the spirit of exchanging and learning from experience. I hope that, through this competition, commune-level judicial and civil registry officials will gain more experience, keep up with new information, and better serve their work in the future,” shared Ms. Luu Thi My Ngoc, Deputy Head of the Tri Ton District Justice Department.
According to Deputy Director of the Department of Justice Tran Cong Lap, after 5 years since the last competition was held, the unit decided to organize the 6th competition. “In the coming time, administrative units will undergo restructuring. The competition is a ‘preparatory step,’ an opportunity for civil servants in the justice sector at all levels to improve their legal skills and knowledge, exchange experiences with each other; and also to meet and network before transferring to new localities and units. After the competition, the civil servants in the justice and civil registration sector will have a firm grasp of and be able to apply the law to their daily work, enhancing their role in advising and assisting the People's Committees at the commune level in carrying out tasks within their authority,” Mr. Tran Cong Lap emphasized.
