Exciting opening day of new school year in the mountainous border area of ​​Tuyen Quang

Along with students across the country, on the morning of September 5, more than 509,000 students in Tuyen Quang province eagerly entered the new school year 2025-2026.

This is the first school year after the merger of Tuyen Quang and Ha Giang provinces into the new Tuyen Quang province and the implementation of a two-level local government. In the new school year, Tuyen Quang province has more than 1,054 schools from kindergarten to high school, including 20 ethnic boarding schools and 236 semi-boarding schools.

In Lao Chai border commune, Tuyen Quang province, early in the morning, students from highland villages were taken by their families to Xin Chai Primary and Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities to attend the opening ceremony.

Mr. Ly Van Lach, Nam Lau village, Lao Chai commune, wakes up early to take his child to Xin Chai Primary and Secondary Boarding School. This school year, his child is entering first grade and will be studying at the school.

In the new school year, Xin Chai Primary and Secondary School strives to improve the quality of teaching and learning, focusing on nurturing students and ensuring school safety.

After the opening ceremony, students went into the classroom to watch the live broadcast of the 80th anniversary of the education sector's tradition and the opening of the new school year 2025-2026 from the National Convention Center in Hanoi.

In the mountainous commune of Meo Vac, the opening ceremony of Pa Vi kindergarten-primary school-secondary school took place briefly and solemnly.

After the merger, Meo Vac commune has only 13 schools, 217 classes with nearly 6,510 students, most of whom are children of ethnic minorities.

At the opening ceremony of the new school year 2025-2026, teachers and students of Pa Vi Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities, Meo Vac Commune happily received the title of National Standard School Level I.
