According to the director, what are our strengths and limitations when bringing Vietnamese concerts internationally?

In terms of strengths, in my opinion, the demand for enjoyment of Vietnamese audiences abroad is increasing and they are willing to pay to have the experience of enjoying quality music from their favorite artists. With many years of organizing shows in other countries, the Xin Chao crew also has experience in planning production and good networking with foreign partners. Besides that, the ability to understand prices, locations, working methods...; so it can be said that all stages of production organization can be implemented carefully and ensure that the audience can enjoy the best way, thereby gradually building the habit of paying to watch shows for the Vietnamese community as well as reaching the local people.

Despite such strengths, ticket prices also need to be balanced to suit the economic situation of the audience. This is a "difficult" problem for producers to consider and come up with reasonable solutions for the show to be successful. In addition, limitations in terms of travel costs, accommodation and especially visa issues are also challenging. Therefore, in my opinion, when organizing, it is necessary to have a clear, transparent plan and comply with the laws of each country to ensure everything goes smoothly.

After Japan and Korea, you have mastered them, where do you and Xin Chao plan to expand to next?

We are planning to expand to Taiwan and other countries with large Vietnamese communities. But for now, we will still focus on the Asian market.

With recent experiences, when do you think Vietnam will have a series of cultural and entertainment programs for overseas Vietnamese that are truly professional and more regular?

We have been implementing shows that satisfy the "professional and regular" requirements for overseas Vietnamese since 2023. This is the process of us researching, exploring the market and finding a suitable direction. This is the foundation for strong development in the future. We expect that in 2-3 years, overseas Vietnamese in Japan and Korea will be familiar with the models and programs that Xin Chao organizes.

Vietnam is making efforts to develop its cultural industry. What role do you think the foreign market plays in that direction?

The overseas market is an "open" direction for Xin Chao and other performance organizers to both serve the Vietnamese community, bring Vietnamese cultural identity and music to foreign audiences, and at the same time seek opportunities to approach and promote the image of Vietnam to local people.

At the same time, we are constantly connecting, linking and learning from our partners to gain experience as well as prepare our team in terms of knowledge and practical experience to get closer to the production organization industry of other countries. That is also a way to contribute to promoting the development of cultural industry in our country.
