On October 26th,FPT University Can Tho organized the international conference "Emerging Trends in FPT Computing Technology 2025 (FETC 2025)" with the theme "AI Solutions for Developing Countries".
The event brought together numerous scientists , experts, lecturers, researchers, students, businesses, and technology organizations. Particularly noteworthy was the participation of leading international speakers and experts in artificial intelligence (AI) and computer network languages from Russia, Australia, and the United Kingdom.
Professor Natalia Loukachevitch (Lomonosov Moscow State University, Russia) presented her research at the international AI conference organized by FPT University Can Tho.

According to the organizers, the conference selected 30 scientific research papers focusing on the relationship between AI and its impact on society, the environment, medicine, education, and diagnostic imaging. In addition, it highlighted new research directions in computer vision and pattern recognition, natural language processing and automatic speech recognition technology, intelligent agents, and robotics …
All accepted papers presented at the conference will be published in the FETC 2025 proceedings by Bach Khoa Publishing House (with ISBN and free access). Some outstanding works will be selected for publication in a special issue of the Vietnam Journal of Computer Science (ISI, Scopus Q3).

Speaking at the conference, Dr. Nguyen Xuan Phong, Vice Rector of FPT University and Director of FPT University Can Tho branch, said that FETC 2025 is not only a forum for academic exchange but also a bridge for cooperation between researchers, organizations, and businesses in spreading AI applications to serve humanity.
The workshop is highly significant in the context of AI's increasing use in daily life, work, and many other important fields. When the potential of AI is unleashed and properly guided, it will contribute to sustainable development and bring many benefits to the community.
