International experts share about AI 'New trends in computational techniques'

FPT University Can Tho organized a workshop on artificial intelligence (AI), with experts from Russia, UK, and Australia coming to share academic experiences and exchange ideas.

On October 26,FPT University Can Tho organized the international conference "Emerging trends in FPT computing technology 2025 (FETC 2025)" with the theme "AI solutions for developing countries".

The event gathered many scientists , experts, lecturers, researchers, students, businesses, and technology organizations. Especially, there were speakers and leading international experts in artificial intelligence (AI) and computer network languages ​​from Russia, Australia, and the UK.

The organizers said that the conference has selected 30 scientific research papers, focusing on the relationship between AI and social, environmental, medical, educational, and diagnostic imaging impacts. In addition, there are new research directions on computer vision and pattern recognition, natural language processing and automatic speech recognition technology, intelligent agents and robots ...

All accepted and presented papers will be published in the FETC 2025 proceedings published by Bach Khoa Publishing House (with ISBN code and free access). Some outstanding works will be selected for publication in a special issue of the Vietnam Journal of Computer Science (ISI, Scopus Q3).

Speaking at the workshop, Dr. Nguyen Xuan Phong, Vice Principal of FPT University, Director of FPT University Can Tho Branch, said that FETC 2025 is not only a forum for academic exchange, but also a bridge for cooperation between researchers, organizations and businesses in spreading AI applications to serve people.

The workshop is meaningful in the context of AI being increasingly used in life, work and many other important fields. When the potential of AI is promoted and properly oriented, it will contribute to becoming a driving force for sustainable development and bring many benefits to the community.
