This contributed to providing additional information, guidance, and some solutions for the locality to implement effectively in the future.

After listening to the opinions and concluding the meeting, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung highly appreciated the proactive approach of the leaders of Lang Son province.

The Minister emphasized that Lang Son is a heroic land on the border of the Fatherland, rich in cultural identity, with hardworking and diligent people, who are effectively upholding the qualities of the Vietnamese people as defined in the Resolution of the 13th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

Lang Son boasts approximately 280 festivals of various ethnic communities across the province, along with a vast system of heritage sites, including the UNESCO Global Geopark Lang Son. This creates a distinctive cultural identity and is a significant advantage for cultural development, contributing to the overall development of the province.

The province also possesses abundant tourism resources and has identified key tourism products, aiming to make tourism a leading economic sector. In the field of sports, the "Sports for All" movement has seen many positive changes; the "National Movement for Physical Training Following the Example of the Great President Ho Chi Minh" has received attention; and high-performance sports have begun to win international medals.

The Minister assessed that the cultural, sports, and tourism sectors of Lang Son are developing positively, and are one of the pillars for sustainable development in the future. At the same time, he expressed confidence that with the correct orientations outlined at the 18th Lang Son Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, along with the development pillars and breakthrough directions, the province will have more resources to develop its culture, sports, and tourism, becoming a bright spot in the Northeast region.

Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung concluded the working session.

Based on the achievements made, the Minister stated that, in order to develop culture, it is necessary to further enhance awareness of culture; when this awareness is fully understood and concretized through programs, culture will become the foundation, the intrinsic strength, and the regulating system for sustainable development.

The Minister suggested that after the Politburo issues the Resolution on the development of Vietnamese culture in the new era, Lang Son province should promptly issue an action plan to concretize the Resolution.

The Minister emphasized that culture does not stand alone; cultural development is a shared endeavor of the entire political system and society. Culture must be linked to the economy to create sustainable strength; culture must be combined with education to form a foundation for human development; culture must be linked with science and technology to unleash creativity; and tourism development based on culture will help tourism "flourish".

The Minister emphasized that the strength of culture must be leveraged to become the pillar and regulator for the sustainable development of society. Therefore, during this term, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has created a legal framework, focused on changing the mindset from "doing culture to managing and governing culture sustainably and developing it," and achieved many positive results.

The Minister also suggested that, given the diverse ethnic groups living in the province, Lang Son should mobilize resources and apply technology to preserve and promote the heritage, languages, and dialects of these ethnic groups for development.

Lang Son must "redraw its tourism map" to transform Lang Son tourism into a growth pole of the Northeast region.

Regarding sports, the Minister suggested continuing to build on strengths, developing sports for all and high-performance sports. He also requested that the leaders of Lang Son province pay attention to leading the further development of culture, sports, and tourism in Lang Son.

Regarding the proposal to build a new Lang Son Provincial Museum, the Minister stated that the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism supports Lang Son's initiative. However, the Minister noted that the province must develop a specific plan so that the museum is not only a place to preserve artifacts but also strongly promotes the value of heritage; applying modern technology, digitalization, creating additional experiences and increasing attractiveness for tourists.

In addition, the Minister noted that other cultural institutions in Lang Son also need to be developed synchronously to ensure cultural living spaces for the people, improve the quality of community services, and create a sustainable foundation for cultural development in the locality.
