On the evening of December 11th, the Best of Vietnam fashion show, part of the Miss Cosmo 2025 competition, was held in Ho Chi Minh City, bringing together Miss Cosmo 2025 contestants along with many Vietnamese beauty queens and runners-up to perform.
The fashion show took place as the Miss Cosmo 2025 journey had passed more than half its course, following a series of cultural and tourism experiences in Hue and Lam Dong.

For the first time, Best of Vietnam announced the top 5 Best in Ao Dai category, honoring the contestants with the most impressive Ao Dai performances. Among the international candidates, Miss Nguyen Hoang Phuong Linh - representing Vietnam - stood out when she was named in the top 5, alongside beauties Kelín Rivera (Peru), Beyonce Forbes (Bahamas), Chelsea Fernandez (Philippines), and Alexandra Mina (Ecuador).

The show showcased the Heritage in Heritage collection by designer Trung Dinh. As an ambassador for Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Week, the designer collaborated with the Miss Cosmo Organization to present an international-scale ao dai (Vietnamese traditional dress) show, where the essence of Vietnamese craftsmanship was celebrated amidst the flow of tourism and creativity.

To begin the show, the designer led the audience back in time, recreating four stages of development of the Vietnamese ao dai: the ao giao linh, ao tu than, ao ngu than during the reign of King Gia Long, and the Raglan ao dai of the 1960s.

This special performance featured Miss Cosmo 2024 Ketut Permata Juliastrid Sari, Miss Cosmo 2024 Runner-up Karnruethai Tassabut, Miss Universe Vietnam 2022 Nguyen Thi Ngoc Chau, and Miss Universe Vietnam 2023 Bui Xuan Hanh. The blend of tradition and modernity created a deeply emotional moment of fusion.

The Miss Cosmo 2025 contestants said they were excited to wear the traditional Vietnamese ao dai for the first time. Each ao dai is a unique handcrafted piece, inspired by the natural wonders, architecture, and art characteristic of the country the contestant represents.

The beauties from England, Sierra Leone, Brazil, Peru, and Pakistan wore vibrant designs, paired with accessories such as conical hats, gold hats, pearls, and gloves. The overall effect was bright, energetic, and evoked a spirit of prosperity and cultural diversity.

Representatives from Thailand, the Philippines, the Netherlands, and Vietnam appeared in traditional Vietnamese ao dai dresses in muted tones, creating an air of mystery and power.

The show concluded with all the contestants appearing in dazzling ao dai (traditional Vietnamese dresses), radiating cultural pride not only of Vietnam but also of the participating nations in Miss Cosmo 2025.

Following the show, the contestants continued with a series of important activities, including presenting their community projects and a closed-door interview round. The semi-final took place on December 17th and the final was held on December 20th in Ho Chi Minh City.
