On her birthday, runner-up Huyen My posted a farewell message to K+, the television channel she had been associated with for the past four years. The beauty queen wrote: “Not every goodbye can be followed by a reunion. So, I officially leave my second home – K+ – on my birthday, a place where, like many of my colleagues, I once thought I would retire.”
Huyen My further shared: “Thank you K+ for giving me so many beautiful memories, incredibly wonderful colleagues, and the opportunity to be closer to sports fans. I have spent four years here with the best experiences, just as we always strive to bring to our viewers.”

Speaking further with Tien Phong newspaper , Huyen My said she learned about the K+ television channel ceasing operations six months ago. At the time, she was shocked because she had thought it was where she would be working until retirement.
"At first, I was quite confused because the information wasn't official. But luckily, I had six months to prepare myself mentally, so when I received the official decision, I felt better. However, even yesterday when we officially said goodbye, I still cried a lot," she said.
Huyen My admits that she is an emotional person, so whenever she has to say goodbye to something, it takes her a long time to forget and move on. "But perhaps the only way is to face reality, even though my feelings are still mixed," Huyen My said.
Huyen My said that over the past six months, K+ has experienced many personnel changes, with many people leaving, but not everyone has been lucky enough to find a new job.
"These are tough economic times, so I sympathize with my colleagues; finding new jobs is very difficult. All I can do is encourage everyone to stay optimistic, hoping things might get better," Huyen My shared.
The beauty queen said that for the past four years, she has lived in a healthy work environment with colleagues who work hard and have fun to the fullest.
"People might say it's just a job, that if I don't work here, I can work somewhere else, but for me, this is my second home, besides my family. I hope that when this door closes, another, brighter door will open. Even though we no longer work together, my former colleagues and I remain close friends in life," she said.

After parting ways with K+, Huyen My took a short break to regain her balance. She said she received many new collaboration offers but is still considering them.
“I used to think that if it wasn't K+, it wouldn't be anywhere else. For me, this is a great working environment. I've always wished I could have started working here sooner. I currently have some personal plans, but I'd like to keep them a secret for now, fearing that talking about them too soon might jinx them. If they succeed, I will share them,” Huyen My said.
Runner-up Huyen My made her debut on K+ as the host of the My Club program in August 2021. To go on air, she had to practice with editor Ba Phu. Every day, the beauty queen went to the television station to practice her pronunciation, diction, and hosting style to ensure it was suitable.
Previously, Huyen My worked as an MC for the show "Happy Lunch" but had to temporarily stop due to her busy schedule and the COVID-19 pandemic. After the pandemic, she decided to continue investing in and pursuing the field of MCing.
Nguyen Tran Huyen My was born in 1995 in Hanoi. In 2014, she won the title of First Runner-up at the Miss Vietnam pageant. In 2017, she represented Vietnam at the Miss Grand International pageant held in Phu Quoc and reached the top 10.
