One of the places that left a strong impression on her was the Mutianyu Great Wall, considered the most beautiful section of the Great Wall and a popular tourist attraction.
Mutianyu Wall is a famous check-in spot on the Great Wall of China, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The scenery here changes with the seasons, each season having its own unique beauty, but autumn is considered the ideal time for tourists to explore .

One of the most memorable experiences for Ms. Diep during her visit was riding the waterslide from the top to the ground.
This is a popular way for many tourists to descend the mountain, instead of using chairs or cable cars, especially for those who enjoy novel experiences with a touch of adventure.
Vietnamese tourists visit the Great Wall of China to admire the autumn foliage and descend the mountain by sliding down a chute.
According to Ms. Diep, this waterslide has a total length of over 1.5km, making it one of the longest waterslides in China. The slide is designed with many curves, winding along the mountainside terrain.
Visitors will use a sled (single or double) equipped with a centrally located manual control lever, sliding from watchtower number 6 to the finish line near the exit.

The female tourist from Ho Chi Minh City said that the operating mechanism of this type of scooter is quite simple: Push the lever forward to accelerate (usually with a maximum speed of about 30 km/h) and pull the lever backward to brake.
"In autumn, sliding down the toboggan while admiring the scenery of the mountains and forests filled with golden and red leaves is incredibly exhilarating, like flying."
"Even though it was freezing cold and my hands were numb, I thoroughly enjoyed the picturesque scenery. This is a service well worth trying if you visit the Great Wall at this time," she shared.

Ms. Diep also revealed that the waterslide at Mo Dien Duc is designed for general visitors to use, with clear safety instructions and speed control via a handle (push to increase speed and pull to decrease speed).
Even inexperienced tourists can try this game, as long as they are in good health and follow the rules and instructions to ensure safety.
“Players have complete control over their speed while riding the slide. However, for a full and enjoyable experience, visitors need to sit in the correct position while sliding, hold the handlebars firmly, and avoid leaning out or stopping midway.”
"At the same time, when entering a curve, you should 'lean inwards towards the curve' to reduce risk and pay attention to maintaining a safe distance of at least 20 meters from the scooter in front," the female tourist added.

To experience the waterslide at Mutianyu, visitors can purchase a single ticket for 100 RMB (approximately 370,000 VND) or a round-trip ticket (going up via suspension chair, coming down via waterslide) for 140 RMB (approximately 520,000 VND).
In addition, visitors must also purchase an entrance ticket, priced at 40 RMB (approximately 150,000 VND).
Ms. Diep bought a combo package including bus tickets to the Great Wall, entrance tickets, tickets for the chairlift ride and the slide ride, for a total cost of 250 RMB (approximately 930,000 VND).

Based on her experience, tourists planning to visit should buy tickets in advance on reputable online travel booking platforms such as Klook, GetYourGuide, etc., or buy tickets directly at the Great Wall.
During peak seasons like autumn, the crowds are so large that the wait time to slide down the water slide can be quite long, possibly up to an hour. Therefore, you should plan and choose a suitable time to experience it, avoiding around 12 pm or late afternoon, 4 pm - 5 pm.
"You should also check the weather before you go because if it rains heavily, the road will be slippery, and the waterslide will stop operating to ensure safety."
Children under 10 years old must sit with an adult. Senior citizens (over 60) or those with cardiovascular conditions should limit their participation. The waterslide operates from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM (peak season) and 8:30 AM to 4:40 PM (off-peak season).
"If there are too many people on the slide, visitors might get stuck, slide slowly, and lose the sense of adventure," Ms. Diep shared.
